We finished his room and promise to show you the completely final project soon. The reason I cannot show you now? Well, we started on our room now and filled his room with boxes and stuff. Aren't we rotten?! LOL! We are changing our master bedroom so that we can be next to him. Things were progressing well and now Mark is busy with other stuff, so there is a slight delay. Of course, I am so ready for him to go into overdrive and get it done, but he has a lot going on too. It will be done before Aidan is born.
BABY UPDATE
Yesterday started my 2 day a week NST and NST with AFI. Translation: I/we have to get non stress tests twice a week and one of those I get with an ultra sound to check amniotic fluid and baby's growth. This is due to my history of high blood pressure.
At my hospital's U/S department, they now have two or three 3D machines. You cannot request them and are a complete crap shoot to get one. This must have been going on my 5th or 6th U/S and I wasn't about to get my hopes up. BUT--I GOT IT!!!!! I was SOOO excited!!! The tech said that she'd hope that baby would be cooperative to get me a good pic since I was so happy. Well, as you can see from the pic, he was somewhat cooperative!!!! I think he is ADORABLE!
Don't be alarmed. Aidan's arms are not deformed. It is just the way the imaging came out. They are perfectly fine. Also his umbilical cord is resting on his chin, which I was worried about, but the tech said was fine.
According to everything with the AFI and NST: He is measuring ahead of schedule and is already estimated at 4 lbs 14 ozs (as of LAST Monday)! The tech said that I could be giving birth to a big baby. She told me that he was in the 87% percentile!! My due date is still the same though. I also know that these are estimates too...
His new thing now? Hiccups! He has had them almost everyday!!! The U/S department said that is a great thing because it means he is "practicing" his breathing!
I cannot wait to meet my little guy.
